- Warrior & Mage: The Elf may choose, on any given adventure, whether to use the capabilities of a Magic User or a Fighter. Use the starting abilities of the class you will choose for your first adventure. If the Elf chooses to advance in the other class they become dual classed. The Elf has the same spell casting limitations of the Magic User, however are allowed to wear Elven Chain while adventuring as a magic user.
At the beginning of each adventure the Elf may choose to don steel or summon the power to cast spells.
- Hereditary Foes: The Elf gains a +1 to attack when fighting orcs, undead, and magical creatures.
- Keen Detection: The Elf is good at spotting concealed and hidden doors.
- Languages: In addition to Common and Elven, the Elf can speak with gnolls, goblins, orcs, and hobgoblins.
